Judging and Awards

Our Judging is done by 2 teams. Each team is made up of 4 judges that look at specific aspects of the entry. Those are Interior, Engine Compartment, Paint and Body and Overall Presentation. Each judge scores the car on a scale of 1 to 10 in that area, with a decimal place. The highest score is a 10.0 in an area. Our judging teams are car people, many of them with years of experience in the restoration or collecting world.
Judging Categories are divided by decade with separate categories for Stock and Modified Entries in each decade. Owners decide which category best suits their vehicle. There are also separate categories for Classic and Modern Muscle Cars, Trucks, Rat Rods, Hot Rods, and Woodies. (Vehicle must have wooden parts)

Our awards are a very unique plaque that is custom designed each year with a photograph of the Best in Show and City’s Choice Winners from the previous year. A 1st and 2nd Place plaque is presented in each judging category. Best in Show is the highest scoring vehicle among all entries. City’s Choice Award is the 2nd highest scoring vehicle among all entries. A People’s Choice Award is presented to the entry receiving the most votes from show participants and show attendees. A Best in Show award is presented to the highest scoring truck. (Classic or Modern Truck)
