Judging Categories are divided by decade. Owners decide which category best suits their vehicle. There are also separate categories for Classic and Modern Trucks, Rat Rods, and Hot Rods.

Awards
Our awards are very unique. The award plaques are made from hand cut and finished cedar. The Cars By The Creek logo and award information are laser engraved in the wood. 2 Awards are presented in each Decade Category. Best Original and Best Modified (Original is as Factory Produced) (Modified is Customized / Resto Mod or Engine Swap Car) Awards are also presented for Best Hot Rod and Best Rat Rod. Best in Show is the highest scoring vehicle among all entries. City’s Choice Award is the 2nd highest scoring vehicle among all entries. A People’s Choice Award is presented to the entry receiving the most votes from show participants and show attendees. Truck Awards are Best Classic Truck (Pre-1975) Best Modern Truck (1976 and Later). Best in Show Truck Award is presented to the highest scoring truck. (Classic or Modern Truck)
